Meet Adam Crossley, lead vocalist, pianist and songwriter for the impressive rock band known as The Adam Crossley Band. Raised in a musical family, New Jersey bred Crossley began playing piano and writing songs by the age of seven. Comparisons have been made to Coldplay, Sting and Toad The Wet Sprocket, but the music has a sound all its own. Since Adam formed the band in 2001, they have created quite a stir in the U.S. and Canada. “Train Goes” is also featured in the main titles for the prime time Canadian Series entitled Train 48.
Currently, Adam is collaborating with Asher Lenz and producing distinctive new songs. Famed artist Josh Groban has enlisted the duo to develop songs for his forthcoming release. Asher is a well-accomplished Canadian Music, TV and Film composer, whose credits include co-writing Andrea Bocelli's 2005 release, “Go Where Love Goes”. This young prolific team is in the process of writing songs for The Adam Crossley Band’s winter 2005 CD release.
Prior to these exciting developments, The Adam Crossley Band, Casey Kinnan (drums), Jason Howes (keys/backing vocals), Rick Tuason (bass/backing vocals) and Ryan Herr (guitar) have been on the road with their tight and energy filled live show. They have opened for artists such as John Mayer, Sponge, Joe Cocker, Steve Winwood and Blues Traveler.
Look for The Adam Crossley Band to head back out on the road with a nationwide tour in support of their upcoming release, co-produced by Crossley and Jay Joyce (Chantal Kreviazuk, Patty Griffin, Wallflowers), as well as other guest producers.
