Buy Indie Music announces artist track list for Its Music Compilation - Volume 2

July 12, 2004, Tempe, AZ-Black Dog Promotions announced that it's newly formed record label Buy Indie Music (http://www.buyindiemusic.com) has selected the artists to be included in the Buy Indie Music Compilation- Volume 2. The special artists are:
1. "Empty Vessel" (Rock) by Breathe www.breathe-online.com
Bio: breathe is an ongoing project which has been recording and performing throughout the south east for the last three years. Consisting of Jeremiah Williamson and Jon Marett the concept behind breathe is to bring the music they record to a wider audience and indeed offer them an alternative to the throwaway pop engulfing the UK.
2. "Teenage Sucide" (Rock) by Solace www.sonicbids.com/solace
Bio: solace is original modern rock band form manchester, NH with a flair for the 80's. The trio goal is to put Manchester NH on the map, with there fast pace riff's and screaming leads which puts them in class all of there own.
3. "Ruby Red Eyes" (Pop/Rock) by Reed Dickinson www.reeddickinson.com
Bio: Reed Dickinson is a Boston, MA area native who's been recording his own music since 1996. He recorded the retro rock CD Playing Games With The Sun and released it in August 2001 to critical acclaim.
4. "Tying up phone lines" (Punk Rock) by Teenage Heartthrob www.teenageheartthrob.com
Bio: In their first 3 months together Teenage Heartthrob has accomplished more than many bands do in a year. They have written 14 songs, recorded an EP, played shows in and around their home state, secured a spot on a national compilation. They have also designed and produced merchandise, including t-shirts, stickers, and buttons, and have received radio air play in Utah and Idaho.

Bio: I've Been Around written by Eugenia Performed By Eugenia And The Boys. Arizona based singer/songwriter/guitar/banjo player with her kick ass back-up band "The Boys". Guitar driven female mood swinging Pop/Rock/Americana with vocals that are unique and melodies you will not forget. This ain't your momma's chick rock!
8. "The Distance" (Alternative Rock) by Clifton www.sonicbids.com/clifton
Bio: The Charlotte, North Carolina based rock outfit known as Clifton is quickly becoming one of the "bands to watch" in the Southeast. Hot on the heels of their most recent release, the Clifton EP, this progressive/Indie rock brotherhood is proving that REM, Tom Petty, Elvis Costello, Santana and Led Zeppelin have a lot in common, and when combined create enough pure sonic energy to blow the roof off!

Bio: Toronto's Emma Cook is further proof that there is something in the water in Canada. That country seems to (almost consistently) turn out fantastic musicians. Her music is in the vein of folk but there's a rock edge too.and it's very well done. Her lyrics are very powerful and well written.

Bio: Failsafe Nation is not the typical heavy alt-rock band, screaming vague, convoluted lyrics over churning, undefined guitar riffs. What they are is a group of three musicians who play hard and play smart, without the inflated egos and incessant mediocrity of the current hard rock scene. Their energy is addictive, their compositions are intriguing, and their performance is airtight.
