Original Guns N' Roses Out To Rival Axl's Comeback Plans

Rocker SLASH has enlisted former GUNS N' ROSES bandmates DUFF McKAGAN and drummer MATT SORUM to his new group - and the former GUNS N' ROSES trio are planning on recording a new album.

The group is now searching for "the right frontman" and a new name, but Slash admits the group might not come together as quickly as fans might like - because he's prepared to wait for the next great rock singer to come along.

He says, "There are no rock 'n' roll singers out there right now. I want to be the guy who spearheads the next rock 'n' roll movement.

"I've done it before, so I want to do it again."

The trio will compete with former frontman AXL ROSE's new-look Guns N' Roses, who are still to announce a release date for their comeback album CHINESE DEMOCRACY.
