Nominations list crammed with stars and new promise The Brit Awards organisation has announced the nominees for the event's various categories. The ceremony is to be celebrated on 26 February in London. U2 are expected to receive a prize for their outstanding contribution to music. The youngsters Coldplay and Sonique have a good chance of carrying away an award, as they've been nominated in three different categories each.
